Third Coast Surf Shop's second featured Surf Art Exhibition
opens Saturday, November 19, at Third Coast Surf Shop’s new headquarters, at
212 State St., St. Joseph.
On display in Michigan for the first time will be works by
Mike Killion, a Chicago-based surfer and photographer. A graduate of Columbia
College in Chicago, Killion’s surf photography has appeared in numerous
national publications and in worldwide exhibitions. He also founded Great
Lakes Surfer magazine, the first online publication dedicated exclusively
to Midwest surfing.
The exhibition will kick off with a reception in Third Coast
Surf Shop’s surf art gallery space, on Saturday, November 19, from 5 to 8 pm
EST. Killion will discuss his photography, and refreshments will be available.
The store will also offer sales on select merchandise for this event. This
reception is free and open to the public.
